The journey from the sea to your table begins with a single man. Jack Donlan. It begins its journey fresh from the ocean, trucked to the Fish House. It then is unloaded from the truck in the morning, and stored in the Fish House's cold storage unit until your order comes in during the afternoon.
Once your order has been processed, the information is then sent to the Fish House, and the fish processing begins. Firstly, Captain Jack cleans and fillets the fish or readies your fish for delivery.
It is then stored under water until it can be taken to the packaging center. There, it is wrapped in cellophane wrap, and then in butcher paper.
Following that, Jack gets out the special styrofoam packaging, and loads it with cold/ice packs.
It then is filled with your order, and then topping it off with styrofoam peanuts to ensure that your fish is not damaged in the shipping process.
Then the FreshFish4U.com trucker picks it up from the Fish House, and carries your order to our sending center, where it is postmarked, and then extra-sealed for freshness.
It then is shipped from our friends at Mailboxes Etc., through FedEx straight to your door. All of this happens between 12 and 72 hours straight from the ocean, for less than you would expect.
